PHCC—NATIONAL ASSOCIATION AWARDS:

Named in honor of PHCC’s first president, this prestigious award recognizes a member who has demonstrated outstanding dedication to the national organization, affiliated groups, and the plumbing-heating-cooling industries. The award is not given out yearly; nominations must be made by the member’s local and/or state association.

Candidates for this award should be outstanding HVAC apprentices enrolled in a training program they plan to continue.

The award recognizes excellence in the HVACR industry and is presented to the HVACR contractor who best represents the profession's ideals. Nominees are judged on professionalism, merchandising and management skills, innovative techniques, trade involvement, and community service.

The PHCC HVAC Instructor of the Year award recognizes instructors who have dedicated their careers to enriching the lives of HVACR students through outstanding instruction in their field. Nominees must be career and technical school, community college, apprenticeship, or adult education program instructors. Anyone who has seen firsthand an instructor's skills and abilities may nominate them.

Recognized as a symbol of excellence throughout the industry, this award is presented during the PHCC-National Association's annual convention to the plumbing contractor who best represents the profession's ideals. Nominees are judged on professionalism, merchandising and management skills, innovative plumbing techniques, trade involvement, and community service.

The PHCC Plumbing Instructor of the Year award recognizes instructors who have dedicated their careers to enriching the lives of plumbing students through outstanding instruction in their field. Nominees must be career and technical school, community college, apprenticeship, or adult education program instructors. Anyone who has seen firsthand an instructor's skills and abilities may nominate them.

The Legislative Service Award is presented to a contractor or an executive manager who demonstrates exceptional skills in the legislative and regulatory arenas. The State Legislative Grassroots Award is given to organizations that have made significant achievements in grassroots mobilization on behalf of the plumbing-heating-cooling industries.
