A Maryland plumbing company owner recently found out the hard way that unlicensed plumbing doesn't pay - just the opposite, in fact. The Carroll County contractor and owner of two companies has been ordered to pay more than $1 million after the state attorney general's office found that "thousands of jobs" contracted to the company were performed by unlicensed practitioners.
